HAUS Project is seeking a part-time maintenance person to do regular maintenance work at its two large, single-family homes located in central Houston. We are looking for someone who is local and handy, has their own tools, and can perform home maintenance in several trades including carpentry and some light plumbing, light electrical, etc.
Example repairs may include: drywall repair, installing a light fixture, repairing a leaky faucet, unclogging a sink trap and so forth.
Work will be ongoing and regular. Average 20-30 hours per week
Candidates should be professional and respectful. HAUS Project members include women and individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Unprofessional conduct of any kind – including but not limited to: sexual harassment, bigotry, violent and/or offensive language or behavior – will NOT be tolerated.
