Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with shippers to negotiate competitive rates for transportation services
Coordinate and track the shipment of goods from pickup to delivery
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
Resolve any issues that may arise during transportation, such as delays or damages
Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Qualifications
At least one year of experience as a Freight Broker Agent or in a similar role
Must have at least 2-5 active customers to start (2 minimum)
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Must have a book of business (shipping customers)
Ability to work independently and remotely
Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
