This role involves managing inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure an uninterrupted and cost-effective supply of materials for production and sales.location: Katy, Texasjob type: Contractsalary: $19.86 - 22.00 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:
Determine resources needed to ensure uninterrupted supply for production and sales.
Ensure materials are cost-effective.
Assist in determining and ensuring the quality of materials.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate parts and raw materials.
Resolve materials issues while maintaining inventory business metrics.
Identify and onboard new suppliers as needed; monitor cost, schedule, and scope of subcontracts to ensure quality and value.
Skill Level:
Apply basic job skills and knowledge typically acquired through 1+ years of relevant work experience.
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with potential related vocational training.
