Requisition Summary The Title & Insurance Specialist will complete title follow-ups, corrections, and filing for new titles and repossession titles with the given state . This position assists in releasing titles to our Used Equipment Sales Department (UESD) consisting of Truck Centers and end-users and will also be tasked with creating a state reference to standardize guides on how each state handles title applications, electronic titles, title corrections and repossession titles required by each state . In addition, this position will handle the in-coming insurance mail and follow-up on expired insurance certificates and cancellations with end user customers and agencies. Job Functions / Responsibilities
Conducts title perfecting and follow-up activities which include:
Reviewing new titles for accuracy and inputting information into required systems
Conducting initial follow-up actions, by telephone, e-mail, or written correspondence to dealers, end-user customers, state DMV’s, etc.
Preparing title applications for ordering new and repossession titles .
Reassigning and releasing paid-out titles
Filing and scanning perfected titles
Completing title correction packages and follow-up duties
Conducts insurance follow-up activities which include:
Logging incoming insurance mail
Addressing/resolving insurance cancellations
Prioritizing follow-up actions on expired policies with customers and insurance agencies
Filing insurance certificates in Docuware
Performs special projects as assigned .
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum two years of administrative support experience, preferably in a transportation services environment.
Strong PC skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs .
Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities .
Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation . Ability to interact with all levels of management.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability .
