Develop tissue culture-free plant genome editing and transformation methods.
Develop new genome editing technologies.
Accelerate crop improvement using genome editing.
Publish scientific results in peer-reviewed journals in a timely manner.
Present research progress in project meetings and national/international conferences.
Help with mentoring graduate students and managing the laboratory.

Ph.D. degree in plant biotechnology, genetics, genetic engineering, molecular biology, virology, or related plant science field
Experience in plant genome editing. Experience in gene editing of cotton and sorghum will be a plus.
