DescriptionGENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:Candidate will work with relevant management to execute against BD strategy for North America. Responsible for co-development and execution against Workstrings BD strategy for primary and secondary markets within region, managing BD team within region, advising senior management as to market conditions, opportunities, gaps, and working with all internal and external stakeholders to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages field sales teams, sets goals and provides input and advice on how to meet and achieve goals
Provides input on sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team
Negotiate sales with existing and new customers
Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility
Leads and coordinates sales meetings based on market needs
Train and develop sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
Implement, manage, and drive sales strategy and philosophy across sales
Identify key accounts to target for long-term success
Coordinates with operations to deliver tools for jobs on a timely basis, verifies inventory and delivery schedules
Assist and coordinate with customers’ supply chain employees to verify pricing, correct invoicing and collecting accounts receivable
Create and lead lunch and learns for customers and vendors
Foster an environment that encourages leadership among sales team
Develop open lines of communication between sales and operations and make sure that sales reporting is accurate and timely information is provided for operations
Provide input on sales/marketing literature for events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Delegate and manage research projects and other duties as assigned
