Raytheon is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Supply Chain Acquisition team. You will report to the Manager of General Acquisitions, supporting multiple programs and proposal efforts within the ASDS mission area. Available work site locations include Richardson or McKinney, Texas, El Segundo, California, Dulles, Virginia or Aurora, Colorado. What You Will Do:
Work with suppliers to obtain pricing, negotiate contract pricing, and monitor performance.
Develop and maintain compliant procurement documentation.
Update business system (SAP/PRISM) with latest schedules and financial information.
Maintain status and plans for program and management reporting.
Evaluate, identify, and select suppliers and business partners.
Soliciting quotes from prospective subcontractors and use various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability.
Conduct investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule.
Negotiate, administer, and maintain documentation of multiple general acquisitions and subcontracts simultaneously and in accordance with company, customer and government guidelines.
Monitor and report cost, schedule, and status of suppliers and make recommendations for corrective action as needed.
Travel domestically and internationally less than 25%.
Develop and deliver presentations to key stakeholders
Qualifications You Must Have:
Minimum 5 years experience in relevant Supply Chain role.
This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Typically requires a university degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years relevant experience.
Experience negotiating pricing and terms and conditions.
Knowledge of import / export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
SAP System or PRISM experience.
