Description
Assist in the development and ongoing review of detailed financial models to enable corporate planning and budgeting
Compile internal and external presentations, including investor presentations, quarterly and YE earnings releases and presentations, board materials and regular internal reviews
Prepare variance reports, comparing budget expectations to actual results and consensus
Run financial models to analyze impacts of various operational and financial sensitivity cases
Capital markets evaluation and execution
Assist in the evaluation of acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives by developing corporate merger models, analyzing optimal financing structures and conducting accretion / dilution analysis
Develop and maintain internal NAV model to inform capital allocation decisions
Support internal hedging committee through the monitoring and review of hedge positions, and assist in analysis of the commodity markets as necessary
Participate in other strategic projects and ad-hoc financial analysis, as needed
Requirements
BS in Finance or a related discipline required
2+ years of experience required. Experience can be in corporate finance at an oil and gas company and/or investment banking (focused on the oil and gas sector)
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience in preparing and maintaining financial models, with a focus on E& P corporate and valuation models
Must be self-motivated and capable of working across multi-disciplinary teams
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
