DescriptionMedical City North HillsRegistered Nurse ORPRN Seasonal w/call8/25/24 through 4/5/2560 per hourPROGRAM REQUIREMENTS· All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks) during the seasonal period.· Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.· Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. We have a comprehensive cardiovascular services department. Our hospital is an accredited Cycle 5 Chest Pain Center with a cardiac rehabilitation program. Other services include minimally invasive robotic surgery and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We have sports medicine, senior health, wound care and outpatient rehabilitation. Our campus has a women's imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit. Position Qualifications: 1.Education: A.Graduate of a school of professional nursing. 2.Experience: A.Minimum one year previous OR experience preferred. 3.Specific Requirements: A.Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire. B.Certified in CPR from AHA or ARC C.Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. D.Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. E.Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing. F.Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the development needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
