We are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Business license and gross receipts reporting
Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Adept in credit card management and reconciliation
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Register budget transfers
Keep Accounts Payable up to date
Extra unique tasks if required
Operate monthly accounting close
Direct Accounts Receivable Requirements - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Solid understanding of bookkeeping
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Quarterly Taxes experience highly desired
Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Expertise in payroll
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
5+ years of related experience
