As an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician (I&E Tech), you will spend the majority of your time time analyzing, troubleshooting, improving, and maintaining electrical power circuits and equipment for new plant in the Odessa area. You will also be responsible for maintaining and upgrading control and automation systems and instrumentation, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pump stations, water plant operations, and measurement facilities.This is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Industrial Electrician, Electrical and Controls Technician, Electrical and Instrumentation Technician (E& I Tech), or Electrical Technician, looking to make a splash into the water treatment industry!Duties & Responsibilities Installing, inspecting, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipmentEnsuring completion of all appropriate documentation Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipmentIdentify, report, and correct safety and environmental concernsPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirementsMentor and train employees when the opportunity presents itselfMaintain electrical switch gear and power distributionResponsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all tools and equipment, as neededOversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third partiesStay up to date on Operations Qualifications and required trainingInterface and communicate with customers and suppliers as requiredComplies with company safety and quality policies and code of conduct
