Employees at thislevel perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisorEssential Duties:General Maintenance Tech IAssists with the maintenance and repair of floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets and furniture; as required moves items related to these activities.Cleans shop and other maintenance environments.Performs general building maintenance and repairs.Assists with performing periodic preventative maintenance on heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical, and/or plumbing systems.Prepares, cleans, primes, and paints interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and equipment.Assists with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair as required.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.General Maintenance Tech IIMaintains and repairs floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets and furniture; as required moves items related to these activities.Cleans shop and other maintenance environments.Enters work order information and tracks projects in the Automated Software System and orders materials and equipment.Performs general building maintenance and repairs.Prepares, cleans, primes, and paints interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and equipment.Operates light and heavy equipment.Assembles, installs, repairs and maintains modular furniture systems.Assists with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair as required.
