Job DescriptionManage an 8-person Workstation Support team that provides onsite and remote IT support for Medical Center Health System in Odessa, TX. Work includes IT deployments, troubleshooting, some web-based application administration and project work.Managing an on-call rotation is included in overall responsibilities. Off hours support is required.The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in healthcare environments and customer support IT operations. The candidate will be accountable for all activities related to Help Desk ticket management, customer support and satisfaction. The candidate will be a full participant in a leadership team which includes tracking and monitoring data, system performance and employee support and mentorship.Career Level - M1ResponsibilitiesSupervises a team of analysts to manage the operational performance goals. Develops and directs work schedules and monitors workflow to achieve established goals and objectives. Responsible for ensuring the team delivers functional and technical solutions to customers. Ensure that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Provides coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members and take corrective actions to address poor performers. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
