The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 4 years of recent experience with commercial new construction.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Install HVAC ductwork for new construction/remodel/renovation projects and repair existing systems and equipment utilizing hand and power tools.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install fire dampers, smoke dampers, and fire/ smoke dampers per code
Must be able to make field alterations to ductwork
Layout and install mechanical equipment
Layout and install ductwork and equipment hangers using duct straps, threaded rods
Install grilles, registers, and diffusers
Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience with commercial new construction.
Must have your hand tools.
Must be able to work overtime if required.
Must have basic PPE.
Must be able to commute to projects as requested.
Must be able to work safely and efficiently.
