Accounting Manager

This Accounting Manager position is for candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. This position is for candidates with the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. This Accounting Manager role is based in the Plano, Texas area and is a permanent employment opportunity that is not to be missed!Your responsibilities

Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process

Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts owned by Staff Accountant

Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Requirements

Bachelors in Accounting required

CPA highly preferred

5+ years of healthcare accounting required

Advanced Excel skills required

2+ years of management experience required

Excellent presentation skills

Reliable technology and analytical abilities

Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

Adeptness in month end closings

Reporting for multiple locations experience desired

Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting

Journal entries experience highly desired

General ledger experience

Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

As a Principal Subcontracts Management Specialist, you\'ll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You\'ll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you\'ll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Reimbursable (CR) plus all variations of fee structures, through the entire contract lifecycle, and will lead complex negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance. You will serve as a subcontracts subject-matter-expert (SME) and mentor to the Subcontracts organization. You\'ll also support, develop, and/or facilitate recurring refresher compliance and FAR training to the subcontracts organization.
