General Summary: Responsible for supervising the daily functions of production departments including meeting production goals, daily goals, hiring and development of staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for associates.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Manages Jobs per Hour in production departmentsSupervises activities in assigned department(s), ensuring work flow and proper utilization of associatesEnsures older jobs are processed in a timely mannerResolves breakage issues to keep breakages lowConducts root cause analysis to timely identify issues and minimize disruption to production levelsProcess and review daily reportsManages lens and frame inventory as requiredWorks to ensure other departments within the lab maintain a steady work flow and works with other department supervisors and production manager to resolve interdepartmental issuesTrains lead associates, oversees associate training and cross trains associates to effectively perform at multiple stations within the departmentPerforms administrative functions including Interviewing and selecting associates, reviewing associate performance, addressing issues, monitoring attendance, scheduling work and vacation timeImplements SOPs, department policies and procedures; enforces all Company Policies and Procedures
