OverviewIntuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is committed to creating tools and services that dramatically increase a Small Business' ability to manage their cash flow. The Risk Operations team supports SBSEG by protecting Intuit and our Small Business customers from financial losses resulting from fraud and financial risk. This team operates on the front lines against fraud and financial risk, using extensive research, analysis, and customer empathy to set appropriate guardrails and drive decisions that significantly impact both our customers and Intuit.This role is hybrid and will require 2-3 days in the office per week. Must be able to work Saturdays and most holidays.
Experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry (1-2 years preferred) with the ability to identify the behaviors and signs of risky financial transactions or accounts.
Excellent research and investigative skills.
Proficient use of technology with exceptional internet research skills.
Ability to make independent and sound decisions and think on your feet in a dynamic environment.
Ability to partner and work seamlessly across the team to effectively document and share problems, opportunities, and solutions.
Education
High school diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Economics preferred or equivalent work experience.
CFE & CAMS certification is a plus!
How you will lead
Applies defined procedures to independently investigate, analyze, and resolve queued fraud and financial risk issues.
Makes outbound calls to customers to validate payments transactions.
Writes complete, succinct and accurate case notes.
Provides empathetic, accurate, and efficient resolutions to the most complex and escalated customers.
Handles questions or escalations on suspected fraud from other business units.
