Duration: 7+ Months Contract Location: Plano, TX Role: Senior Systems Engineer Primary Skills: Information Security Role Description: The Senior Systems Engineer must have at least 6+ years of experience in Information Security. For this role, you must be an Identity Engineer who has the ability to learn new technologies quickly, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You must have experience supporting the including but not limited to: - IAM - Identity Access Management - LDAP - Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, SSO - Single Sign-On, SAML - Security Assertion Markup Language, or WS Federation - Web Service - Cloud applications such as Office 365, Salesforce, Workday, etc. You will be working closely with IT support teams and end-users to address access-related questions and issues. This role does require 3rd tier support for the tools, so some non-core hours should be anticipated. As the Senior Information Security IAM Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, coding/configuring, and administering information security systems. Responsibilities: - Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases, including fraud threats. - Mentor and develop junior staff and engineers in areas of subject matter expertise. - Act as the subject matter expert on multiple security tools. - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of security tools and processes used in protecting and monitoring the environment. - Enhance security through better prevention, detection, enforcement, correlation, review and response. - Mentor and develop junior staff and engineers in areas of subject matter expertise. - Lead security event management research and resolution, under time constraints. - Work with business and development teams to further integrate security into application and product designs. - Develop custom scripts/programs to provide security information and to integrate security tools with existing security monitoring infrastructure. - Use security tools to audit infrastructure, detect issues and coordinate remediation of any issues.
