Insight is currently seeking to hire an analyst to assist the Desktop Software Asset Management Team with standardizing software data. The analyst will be responsible for researching and resolving data issues in Servicenow. The candidate will support the Desktop Software Asset Management Team with the implementation of the new software asset management tool, SamPro.
Responsibilities
Evaluating suggestions of discovered software that were manually normalized incorrectly.
Creating a pattern standardized rule to normalize specific software products in the environment based on a common pattern.
Correcting inaccuracies of non standard software by researching publishers and products online.
Assist in mapping discovered software to software models in Servicenow.
Updating the Software Asset Management Team and leadership with weekly progress of the project
Work with additional departments to enter licensing data into asset management tool
Qualifications
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects
Must be able to work independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues.
Data Analysis experience
Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Mgmt tool or a comparative tool is a plus
Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration and communication
Knowledge of custom license type creation
Experience with and understanding of Configuration Management (CMBD)
