They can send you a link to apply directly so they can receive credit!What You Will DoPerform construction and maintenance operating work related to a pipeline system.Perform pipeline construction, installation, maintenance and removal work on transmission and distribution pipelines.Load, unload, and operate tools and equipment including: Pipe and crescent wrenches Pipe cutters and threaders Hammers and screwdrivers Picks, shovels, and rakes Air compressors and generators Plastic fusion irons Jackhammers and concrete saws Booms and chains Air compressors and generators Mini and large backhoe Combustible Gas Indicators Tapping equipment No blow equipment Forklift Respirators Oxygen analyzerPerform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment including: Fueling truck and checking fluid levels Applying lubricants Changing oil and filters Cleaning/adjusting toolsInvestigate customer related orders and emergency situations including: Low Pressure calls Class 1 Leaks Blowing lines Fires/explosions Undetectable linesRegular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.What You Will NeedKnowledge of use, function and maintenance of manual tools and equipment applicable to the position.Knowledge of application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (tested).Knowledge of construction and maintenance of transmission and distribution pipeline systems.Working knowledge and training relative to: Working in excavations and confined spaces Basic customer service activities Company and governmental operating/safety procedures Fusing plastic pipe Characteristics of natural gasKnowledge in basic computer functions and relevant software.Understanding of how to read and interpret maps, atlas pages, blueprints, and job orders.Read and write fluently in English.Applicable driver's license.Qualified Plastic Fusion Technician certification.Applicable Operator Qualifications.CDL preferred.Lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds 10 15 times a day; up to 40 pounds 7 10 times a day; over 50 pounds 5 6 times a day.Climb into and out of excavations.Travel over uneven terrain including: Mud Gravel Sand Rocks Ice SnowReact immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.Smell odorant in natural gas.Detect and react to warning signals at work sites.Operate tools and equipment required.Communicate and exchange information and instructions including use of company two way radio and company cell phones.Peripheral vision and accurate depth perception.Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.Diversity at ONE GasInclusion & Diversity is so important to us that we made it one of our core values, values that guide and direct our actions as we go about our daily business.
