Description We are seeking an Analytics Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will turn data into information insight and insight into business decisions. responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include data gathering, warehousing, requirements, activities, and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. This person must have real life experience mentoring, leading or managing a team of Business / Data Analyst and helped a company build out their reporting structure preferably with Power BI / Power Platform. Proven history of leading, mentoring, managing and growing a team of Data / Business Analyst
Write SQL database queries, stored procedures, triggers. user defined functions, analytics functions, etc.
Built out reports within Power BI
Profile database/dataset performance and collect/analyze metrics as needed
Fine-tune datasets to improve quality and efficiency (eg. Tables vs Views, Schema changes, etc.)
Own features that you develop end to end, develop and test your code, implement new processes in production and maintain/support them over time
Drive our data platform and help evolve our technology stack and develop best practices
Develop and unit test assigned features to meet production requirements
Requirements
The ability to work onsite 3 to 4 days a week in Richardson, TX
Proven history mentoring, leading or managing a team of Business / Data Analyst (2 + Individuals).
Hands on exposure with Power BI or a similar tool and the ability to write basic SQL.
