Description There's an exciting opportunity available with Robert Half for an experienced Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join a growing organization. In this position, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Corroborate documents and codes
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment
Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP
Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues Requirements - 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Experience with ERP systems
Wide ranging experience with skip tracing credit
Proven knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation
Previous experience working with credit collections
Foundational knowledge in Credit Card Payments
Skills in credit analysis
Experience with credit approvals
Microsoft Excel experience
Prior experience with Credit Balance
Hands-on experience with Credit Authority
Experience with Credit Card Receipts
Well-founded grasp of Corporate Credit
Solid understanding of Credit Card Deposits
Comprehension of Credit Application
Expertise in Credit Card Fraud
Deep understanding of Credit Card Industry
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Earlier work involving consumer credit
General familiarity with Credit Decision
Well-founded grasp of Credit Cards
Proven knowledge of Consumer Credit
Solid understanding of Credit Card Charges
Practical knowledge of Credit Department
Expertise in commercial collections
Quality experience with Credit Administration
Practical knowledge of credit
Company Credit Card experience
General familiarity with Corporate Credit Card
Approve Credit experience preferred
Good understanding of commercial credit
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
