You will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and implementing strategies to improve the market position and commercializing new products in this product line. The Antennas and Accessories Product Line Manager will strive to increase profitability of existing products, while also helping to develop new products. You will work across all departments of the company, including sales, operations, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing. You must be able to effectively collaborate and communicate with these departments to meet company expectations and consumer demands. This full-time position is based in our Richardson, TX office where you will contribute to our customer-focused and high-performance culture. After the training period, you will enjoy a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days from home per week. Domestic and international travel is anticipated at 25%. This position has a competitive salary between $80,000 and $125,000 a year depending on experience, plus a profit-sharing bonus every 6 months. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: As an Antennas and Accessories Product Line Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, analyze market trends, and create product roadmaps. Your day will involve conducting market research, identifying customer needs, and working on product positioning strategies. Expect to lead product development meetings, track project timelines, and ensure products meet quality standards. Your role will be pivotal in driving customer-centric initiatives and shaping the future of our product line.

Working closely with the Business Leader and Applications manager for the product line in developing, updating and implementing winning project-specific sales strategies and value propositions

Developing and implementing product line strategies and market plans

Undertaking product line competitive analysis and project win/loss analysis

Leading the effort of new product development, roadmap and improvements

Setting pricing, liability and guarantee standards

Participating in product line resource planning

Providing tactical management of selected OEM alliances

Developing sales and publication material for product promotions

Representing the product line at conferences and seminars

Preparing quarterly sales and operational metrics for each product

Managing department budget and establishing annual profit plan objectives for the product line

Working with management to develop long-term product development and sales strategies for the company

Researching customer needs and expectations in order to develop new products

Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitors to make sure products stay competitive

Managing the development cycle for new products, from conceptualization to product launch

Providing marketing with information for promoting products, and assisting with the development of the marketing strategy

What we're looking for in a Product Line Manager:

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience, accompanied by a commendable track record of 5+ years in a similar role. We are looking for candidates with experience in wireless communication product development and a comprehensive understanding of RF systems. Prior field sales management experience is preferred but not required. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Dallas Fort Worth metro area.

The role demands strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments efficiently, and meet tight deadlines. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are required. The successful candidate will excel in influencing others and demonstrate a keen initiative and follow-through on projects. With excellent presentation skills and the ability to conceptualize and communicate business needs, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in contributing to our success.
