You will implement solutions on critical items to propose to customers and keep failure inventories of the repair or manufacturing process in good health. You will maintain and grow the technical knowledge of the team, develop training, and cross-train employees for the benefit of flexibility of personnel between projects and technologies.
Use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to test and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical assemblies
Responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting.
You will implement solutions on critical items to propose to customers and keep failure inventories of the repair or manufacturing process in good health
You will maintain and grow the technical knowledge of the team, develop training and cross train employees for the benefit of flexibility of personnel between projects and technologies
Keep in good health the technician efficiency and effectiveness indicators
Issue timely test reports summarizing results, deviations, and present recommendations for potential improvements
Perform deep dive analysis using various types of advance tools and instruments to identifying actual root causes.

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Experience
1-3 years of experience in PCBA/Products, Systems or Modules level Failure analysis experience.
Strong ability to read and interpret schematic and component data sheets and its applications
Knowledge of electrical tools and methods like Oscilloscopes, TDR, curve tracers, Thermal Imaging (FLIR and Lock-in Thermography), … for fault isolation
Great communication skills
Knowledge of reliability testing to relate failure from reliability test failure
Statistical Analysis capability: able to work with data and analyze for trend and present to management
Great organization, reporting and presenting skills
Report and present accurate data
FMEA or other root cause prediction analysis skills
Ability to write and interpret scripts.
