Experience with event planning.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior related experience of 2 years or more working as an Administrative Assistant in an executive-level office.
Prior experience working in an academic setting.
Experience with using P-card, and submitting purchase requisitions and work orders.
Knowledge of Adobe Sign and/or Adobe Acrobat, utilizing Texas State systems including SAP , TSUS Marketplace, Ready Request, CLSS CourseLeaf, and CatsWeb software.
Knowledge of Texas State university/academic policies and procedures.
Job DescriptionResponsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to the Dean’s Office and the chairs/directors in theCollege of Health Professions ( CHP ) (https://www.health.txst.edu/) .This position is housed on theRound Rock campus ( RRC ) (https://www.rrc.txst.edu/) .Job Duties
Plan, coordinate, and manage events of various sizes for the CHP Dean’s Office.
Prepare and process Affiliation Agreements (AA) with outside facilities and agencies for student clinical placements.
Maintain AA electronic database and serves as liaison between the placement coordinators and the affiliation sites.
Coordinate with the CHP academic units and the Registrar’s Office on the Schedule of Classes room assignments and final exam schedule change requests.
Handle room reservations for CHP events on the RRC .
Hire and supervise student workers.
Assist with annual inventory such as computers and equipment for the Dean’s area on the RRC .
Provide administrative support to the CHP Associate Deans as needed.
Work closely with the Sr. Administrative Assistant to complete Dean’s Office tasks on the Round Rock Campus ( RRC ).
Serve as receptionist by answering phones, greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Represent the office as a professional environment.
General office duties: submit key/card access, work orders, purchase orders, and invoices, run errands, troubleshoot, scan/copy materials, prepare/ distribute mail, restock the coffee station, and office supplies to ensure efficient office operations.
Other duties as assigned.
