Let me know your interest for below role and share your resume with me.Job Title: VRA EngineerLocation: Onsite in Round Rock, TX - hybrid position required onsite a few days a weekDuration: 1 year - possible extension and/or conversion but not guaranteedHours: Standard business hoursOverview:A successful candidate should have a solid understanding of the VRA platform for both VRA7 and VRA8, experience with VRA - vRealize Automation and VRO - vRealize Orchestrator. The team uses agile principles and operates in two-week sprints. Standups are held four days a week to go through work performed and discussion of any blockers.Responsibilities:-Developing new VRA/VRO blueprint and workflow code in support of automation efforts-Maintain and troubleshooting existing blueprints and workflows-Working with team members to assist in adding capacity to new data centers-Working with external teams where necessary to troubleshoot issues with VM deploymentsEssential Requirements:The candidate will have experience with automation and orchestration related to VRA including the following requirements:-10+ years experience-Familiar with VMWare Orchestrator and workflows including orchestration concepts, network virtualization, and storage and vSAN solutions-Experience developing scripts with Javascript-Windows PowerShell scripting-Linux Shell/Batch scripting-Experience developing and managaing BluePrints and Workflows-Knowledge of VRA 7 and 8 and the underlying APIs-Basic foundational knowledge and troubleshooting of Networks, Firewalls, and Security-Basic foundational knowledge and troubleshooting of Window and Linux OS-Experience with Object Oriented programming in a language such as Java, C#, or Golang would be a plusDesirable Requirements:-Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform-Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines-Knowledge of the full VMware tech stack, NSX, ESXIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
