The Assistant Project Manager manages resources, schedules, and financials while adhering to quality and control guidelines throughout the project life cycle. The successful APM will manage issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The APM contributes to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The APM may have the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis and verifies the project produces the required deliverables within the specified constraints of cost. Additionally, the APM develops new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, or geographical area.
Qualifications
4+ years in field Supervision (i.e. foreman, crew lead, superintendent)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
MS Office skills and ability/desire to learn new software systems
Must be courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated
