Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Working with the accounting and auditing staff in the area of attestation
Will involve the preparation of compiled, reviewed and/or audited financial statements for various clients from multiple industry groups
Mandatory requirements are:
At least three (3) years of compilation and review experience at a public accounting firm
The experience must be current
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Beneficial characteristics would include:
A Texas CPA license
Experience with general ledger software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Accounting CS
Experience with CCH products Fixed Assets, and Engagement
PPC audit tools
Experience preparing tax returns, especially for the related attestation clients
Must pass background check and drug test; and comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
We are looking for a person with senior level attestation skills and experience to work with us to increase our book of business in the accounting and audit practice areas. Initial primary responsibility will include working closely with audit partner to become familiar with clients. There will be an opportunity to build a book of business with the goal of eventually take on the responsibilities of equity ownership in our firm. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience and competitive with today’s market.
