Application System Engineer- for Global Application & Infrastructure Tools engineering & support
Description: The role of the Global Application & Infrastructure Support which is to provide technical and operational assistance for ATM monitoring tools. This includes both production support (resolving trouble tickets to support daily business operations) and minor system enhancement requests (automation scripting changes, messages, etc.). The Infrastructure Tech Specialist will partner with Operations, other IT groups, and the other support staff to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production & uat problems for monitoring tools. Work efforts must comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Client standards for incident management, change control and documentation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large technology team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment, focusing on teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for the following:
•review and create scripts for SQL & Oracle DB & Gather necessary data / examples to diagnose problem
•When appropriate, open and manage vendor support requests
•Develop or determine problem resolution
•Test resolution on development system
•Obtain operational approval of test results and implementation plan
•Follow Client IT change implementation requirements
•Participate in required conference calls for severity 1/2 issues
•Ensure prompt resolution and SLA compliance
Implement minor system enhancement requests
•Assess deliverables, identify critical paths and dependencies
•Estimate time and cost requirements
•Establish development plan, schedule, and risk / contingency plans
•Test any system changes in development environment prior to implementation
•Coordinate scheduling and implementation of request solution
•Follow Client IT change implementation requirements
•Communicate request status to the internal Client customers
•Document timely status updates on assigned trouble tickets and maintenance requests
Qualifications
5+ years' experience in SQL and PL/SQL scripting and debugging
5+ years' experience Creating, Maintaining, Provisioning and Decommissioning Database instances
5+ years' experience with Oracle development and monitoring tools including Toad, Sql, and Developer
Experience of working on production highly available systems
Experience in production troubleshooting and capacity planning
