This can include performing data analysis and troubleshooting issues as well as handling questions from the Controller’s organization and the operating groups that use the reports. It is important to understand SAP financial data which is critical to creating and maintaining accurate reports. The successful candidate should have advanced Microsoft Excel skills. A motivated individual with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills is essential. This position is part of a job family with multiple grade levels. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support reporting applications including Business Objects (Analysis for Excel and WebIntelligence) and Business Warehouse
Serve as a liaison between IT and business to create new solutions or modify existing reports to support business requirements and break/fix work
Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate solutions
Regression test system changes due to support packs and enhancements
Researches and troubleshoots issues across multiple sources using knowledge of data and system functionality
Identifies efficiencies and recommends ways to improve and automate processes and procedures
Complete other duties including special projects as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
0-3 years of related experience
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
SKILLS
Motivated individual with strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend effective solutions
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as pivot tables and vlookups
Ability to work in a team setting
