Civil/Structural Field Engineer

Description:Toyota's E&F department needs an ACS Field Engineer to support TABC Projects Detailed Description of Responsibilities: Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to ACS (Architectural, Civil, Structural) systems. Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules. Provide internal review of ACS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation. Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and Toyota standards. Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for ACS systems. Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups. Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis. Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.Skills:Construction, Construction management, Design, Civil, Structural engineering, Civil engineering, commissioning, building systems, industrial, commercial construction, Autocad, bluebeam, Structural designTop Skills Details:Construction,Construction management,Design,Civil,Structural engineering,Civil engineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree major in Civil/ Structural Engineering. However other majors with the relevant experience will be considered. Experience 5 to 10 years 1. 2+ years in construction management. 2. Experience in design criteria development for ACS systems. 3. Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer. 4. 5+ years in ACS design field. 5. Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills. 6. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project. Additional Desired Qualifications: 1.
