Job Title: MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our custom machine shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC lathe setup, operation, changeover, and troubleshooting. This is not a high-volume production facility; instead, you will work on a variety of custom parts with an average of 3+ changeovers/setups per day. You must know how to edit program on CNC lathes and run them efficiently.Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills.
Perform 1-3 changeovers/setups per day.
Order and select proper tooling per machine specifications.
Edit and set up machines according to production needs.
Run CNC machines and ensure they operate efficiently.
Essential Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machinist.
Proficiency in CNC lathe setup, operation, changeover, and troubleshooting.
Ability to edit CNC lathe machines and enter codes.
Knowledge of G code and motion codes, including their uses and work offsets.
Experience with multiple setups per day and selecting own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a machine shop, preferably tool and die.
Knowledge of CNC programming, SolidWorks, GIBB, and CAM.
