Our client is seeking to hire Intermediate Level IT professionals who want to work in a Data Center environment. Our client is wanting to hire individualswith a passion for technology and computer hardware! Candidates with hands on experience troubleshooting server hardware are encouraged to apply! Our clienthas several needs at different work shifts. Day and night openings are available to applicants.Our Data Center Technicians will be responsible for physical upgrades, implementation, optimizations and troubleshooting onsite for the data center.Techs will deploy circuit boards and need to be able to troubleshoot any related issues, run diagnostics, create documentation, etc. Responsibilities-The Data Center Technician is expected to address customer inquiries via support tickets from inception through resolution with minimal or no supervisionSupport data center operations and IT systems, network services, business critical processes and procedures to support the delivery of customer products andservices;Provide technical and operational support, including as it relates to colocation, connectivity, and network products and services;Support internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephonesystems;Install and deploy IT and network hardware;Make and run patch cables as well as verify testing cable paths;Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services, including but not limited to break-fix work;Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits;Experience Level:Intermediate Level (Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of IT experience preferably hands on hardware troubleshooting experience)Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00 Medical, dental & vision Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) Short and long-term disability Health Spending Account (HSA) Transportation benefits Employee Assistance Program Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in San Antonio,TX.Application DeadlineThis position will be accepting applications until Jan 9, 2025.About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
