RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a talented Data Governance Consultant in San Antonio, TX.
Job Description:
The Data Governance consultants define strategies and develop/deliver solutions and processes for managing enterprise-wide data throughout the data life cycle from generation to usage.
Job Duties:
Develops data domain specific information and data governance policies, guidelines, procedures and communications
Develops information governance oversight processes and measurement approach for internal policies, standards and capabilities through audits, peer reviews, and monitoring of KRIs and KPIs
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
10 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years of experience in the development of data warehouse, decision support, or executive information systems
Related experience in relevant application software development may be considered
Must have experience in the development of process and data models
Functional knowledge in Financial Services (Banking and/ or Insurance), Social Media usage, call center operations or other relevant areas
Must have experience in Physical Data Modeling in at least one of the following database technologies: Netezza, DB2, Oracle, Exadata and Teradata
Must have good understanding of Dimensional Modeling and ER-Modeling
Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate interaction with client users as well as technical IT staff
Data modeling for relational databases
Conceptual data modeling
Logical data modeling

IBM Insurance Information Warehouse (IIW) Data Model
