We’ve completed due diligence and asset valuation engineering support on acquisition, divestiture, and power and energy projects. We provide project reviews, construction schedules, environmental and regulatory work, and risk analyses. Our teams work with global stakeholders and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of international contractual standards for public, private, sector, and financing institution clients.We are seeking an experienced Due Diligence Project Manager for location within any of our Stantec Government Services Division offices. This position can be remote. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of due diligence projects with a team of professional architects , engineers, scientists, and planners throughout the U.S.Job Description:As a Due Diligence Project Manager within Stantec’s Government Services Division, you will manage due diligence projects by gathering and assessing information and identifying potential risks. Other responsibilities include management and oversite of project-related tasks including client management; preparing proposals, including job scopes and budgets; project coordination, including management of field activities, report writing, or projects involving site permitting and development, Phase I site assessments, Phase II subsurface investigation, analyses related to natural resources, transportation, etc. You will be the face of Stantec to our clients and subconsultants.If you have a background in Land Development, Municipal Planning, Construction Management and/or Environmental Due Diligence, you will be a perfect fit for this position. Come join our team.Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in planning, engineering, architecture, environmental science, or related field from an accredited program

10 years of professional experience with an engineering/environmental consulting firm

Strong project management skills and follow-through

Exceptional research, writing abilities as well as written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work productively individually and as a team

Experience working with property management, brokers, and subcontractors

Superior attention to detail

Strong problem-solving abilities (critical thinking/deductive reasoning)

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

High-level proficiency in MSOffice

Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately in a constantly changing environment and act with a sense of urgency, accountability, and have exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment

Excellent problem solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely information
