Job Title: Housekeeping/Janitorial Staff (1604/Stone Oak)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping/Janitorial Staff member to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of non-occupied patient rooms in a hospital setting. This includes deep cleaning, bed making, mattress flipping, and thorough disinfection of entire rooms. Additionally, the role involves handling linens, cleaning isolation rooms, and adhering to strict safety measures.Responsibilities
Clean non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring deep cleaning and thorough disinfection.
Make beds, flip mattresses, and clean and disinfect entire rooms.
Handle linens, placing them in large, heavy bags and depositing them down the chute.
Clean isolation rooms, following strict safety measures, and thoroughly mop and clean the entire room.
Essential Skills
6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently and push up to 200lbs.
Strong attendance record.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with difficult people.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct experience in hospitals is a plus.
Reliability and strong attendance are crucial. The best candidate will follow procedures and complete duties even when the manager is not present.
