Grow. with us.To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.Who we’re looking forToyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated HR Administrator, Talent Development.The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Human Resources Development (HRD) group at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX) with new hire orientation (NHO), special events, and other administrative responsibilities and projects.Reporting to the HR Manager – Talent Management, the person in this administrative role will support the department's objective to train the future advanced manufacturing workforce.This position is based at our manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. Relocation assistance isn’t available for this position.What you’ll be doing

Supporting New Hire Orientation/onboarding of new Production or Skilled Team Members.

Coordinate special events or training classes that the group will need support with, including ordering and setup of food and beverages for those activities.

Tracking expenses to ensure budget is met, establishing new blanket Purchase Orders each fiscal year for recurring expenses, and tracking end of month accruals to submit to Accounting and Finance.

Filing records that need to be kept for HR compliance purposes; assist with filing of confidential paperwork in HR secured room.

Primary function to give presentations/general training to NHO groups, including, but not limited to assistance in setting up their direct deposit, helping get their PPE, setting up their phones with Toyota apps (like One Toyota), etc. and answering any questions they may have.

Various HRD related job duties, including city regulatory submittals; internal and external audits of records in control/support of OSHA; environmental and HR compliance training.

Creating key performance indicator reports.

Assist with ordering, catering, setting up food for HR department meetings/events.

Manage/support bereavement process (ex. ordering flowers, bereavement box, etc.).

Support of Quality Control Circle, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, and Advanced Technology Manufacturing Academies program events and weekly reflection activities.

Support daily ordering and budgetary requests.

Use Ariba to create purchase requisitions as needed and reconcile/receive PRs as invoices are uploaded.

Create standardized work as required.

Coordinate calendar invites as needed.

Assist in registration and payment for job/career fairs.

What you bring

3+ years HR experience within HR training and development area supporting team members and performing administrative duties.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including proven ability to create/use formulas, pivot tables, graphs, etc.

Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including proven ability to create PPT presentations with animations.

Proven ability to successfully communicate, interact, and present to all levels of the organization, to convey key messages.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and flexibility to adjust to changing needs.

Experience managing highly confidential information.

Experience supporting administrative duties for multiple groups with minimal supervision and little direction.

Event planning experience.

This position requires driving; a motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position.

Added bonus if you have

Experience with Ariba system – creating purchase requisitions, receiving invoices, and resolving any reconciliation issues.

Budget management experience, including effective problem solving to address budgetary issues.

Knowledge of Toyota Way and Toyota Production System (TPS).

Experience working in a manufacturing environment or for staffing agencies hiring for manufacturing environments.

Experience resolving new hire onboarding issues.

Experience with Stay Surveys/retention surveys and conducting follow-up conversations.
