Description: The HR Analytics Support internship is responsible for assisting with various department functions, including data-driven projects, system implementation, and testing. This role will provide hands-on experience in areas like workflow optimization, data governance, and user experience, while helping improve HR processes that impact our organizational culture and employee satisfaction.Expectations include strong analytical capability, effective communication (verbal and written), and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, track project details, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Data Analytics: Support in analyzing employee and HR workflow data to identify trends, assess system usage, and uncover insights that contribute to a positive work environment and enhanced employee experience.
System Implementation & Testing: Assist in implementing and testing HR system features, ensuring they align with organizational goals, improve process efficiency, and are user-friendly for employees at all levels.
Process Documentation: Help create and update job aids, process documentation, and training materials, applying principles from I/O psychology to enhance clarity and facilitate change management.
Workflow Optimization: Participate in assessing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing system updates designed to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
Training Support: Collaborate on developing training content to improve user adoption of new system features, considering factors like learning styles and motivational theories from I/O psychology.
Data Governance & Quality Control: Assist in maintaining data integrity by supporting data governance processes, monitoring data quality, and helping identify inconsistencies.
Special Projects: Assist with data analytics, selection & testing, and other projects as requested.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Applied Statistics, or other related field preferred.
Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred.
Graduation date between August 2025 to May 2027 required.
Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
