Description We are seeking a Lead Security Analyst to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the relevancy and efficacy of Information Security guidelines and procedures in addressing cybersecurity risks in our constantly evolving technical environment. You will lead the work to review and update security controls and processes, ensuring the protection of member data in cloud-based applications and data storage arrangements.Responsibilities: Lead the review and update of security controls and processes to keep up with changes in the internal and external operating environment, technologies, and business processes. Train and mentor Sr. Information Security Analysts and Information Security Analysts, improving the enterprise's information security posture. Provide expertise for security systems, industry best practices, and procedures to protect the enterprise network infrastructure and information assets from intrusion, virus and malware attacks, and unauthorized access. Ensure the proper configuration and setup of all security-related appliances and solutions such as SIEM DLP, NAC, Internet security, mailbox defense, NDR, SSO, vulnerability scanners, DMARC, MFA, and Digital Risk Protection in accordance with established policies. Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of member data in compliance with NCUA rules and regulations. Provide escalation and oversight support for after-hours security incidents. Utilize skills such as Access Control, Cisco Technologies, Firewall Technologies, IDS, IPS, Active Directory, Auditing, Authentication, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management. Requirements The candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field. Proficient in Access Control management, ensuring the right individuals have access to the correct resources. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Technologies. Demonstrated experience with Firewall Technologies, securing networks from unauthorized access. Familiarity with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) to detect and prevent security breaches. The candidate must have experience with Active Directory, managing users and controlling access. Auditing skills are required, to ensure the regular checking of systems for potential issues. Strong understanding of Authentication processes to verify the identity of users or systems. Proficiency in Computer Hardware, understanding the physical components of computers and servers. Experience in Configuration Management, maintaining systems and servers in a reliable state.
