Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves executing Infrastructure Design Tier III functions, leading technical compliance, resolving technical issues, and improving quality standards. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of Information Technology environments and support technologies.Responsibilities: Execute Infrastructure Design Tier III functions, including design and documentation audit, planning, and solution assistance Lead from a technical perspective to ensure compliance with Infrastructure process at Level III Resolve issues arising from network, server, database, and desktop integrations and failures Diagnose emerging technical problems and initiate actions to prevent and/or overcome the problems identified Implement and improve quality standards for existing products, services, production, or operational processes in response to customer needs Advise management of changes needed to any system hardware and application, ensuring change management process is followed Use skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, AB Testing, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Datacenter, and Deployments Maintain responsibility for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action Collaborate with other departments to align needed support to the desired business outcomes Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Requirements Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role. Demonstrable expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Proficient in using Checkpoint for security management. Solid understanding and experience with Cisco ASA. Ability to manage and configure Cisco Routers effectively. Extensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies. Experience with AB Testing is a plus. Strong familiarity with Computer Hardware. Capable of performing Configuration Management tasks. Experience in managing and maintaining Datacenters. Proven ability to handle Deployments efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have a collaborative mindset to work with different teams within the organization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
