Description A local non profit organization is looking for a Payroll Processor to start immediately. With guidance from the Payroll Administrator, the Payroll Processor will assist with the biweekly processing of payroll. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Assists in analyzing, preparing and inputting payroll data for the Association to produce an accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll using UKG. 2. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. 3. Enters new-permanent information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 4. Assists in maintaining the payroll and HRIS records and compiling reports from database. 5. Approves changes to employee records in payroll system submitted through the workflow process. 6. Enters new permanent and pay rate data into the payroll system. 7. Provides reports, information, and training to appropriate branch staff to ensure payroll accuracy. 8. Maintains internal records and staff files according to legal retention requirements. 9. Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures. 10. Verifies employment and salary requests. 11. Answers staff member inquiries regarding paychecks, accessing paycheck stubs online, W-2 access, etc. 12. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
