CIS Group is seeking a 1099 Property Insurance Inspector to complete field underwriting inspections in your area. If you join our team as a contracted inspector, you will travel to residential homes to take photos, gather property data, and upload information via their smartphone and/or computer. Most inspections will be exterior-only, but some will require interior photos as well. Below is a one-minute video that is a good example of an exterior-only inspection.

Skills and Requirements

· 1099 Independent Contractor status (be your own boss!)

· Flexible Schedule(work hours must be during daylight hours, Mon - Sat)

· Must be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions

· Must have a fairly recent smartphone or tablet capable of taking and storing hundreds of pictures in the field

· Access to a computer with Wi-Fi

· Must own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities Conduct inspections of heavy mobile equipment and vehicle components repaired by shop personnel.
