This project is in the proposal stage, we’re awaiting to be awarded the contract.The objective of this contract is to obtain all infrastructure, including temporary housing structures, physical plant, staffing, resources, services, and supplies necessary to house aliens in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a safe and secure environment. International SOS is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to detainees, including performing assessments, administering medications, and managing chronic and acute health conditions. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of effective medical services while maintaining adherence to safety, security, and regulatory standards within the facility. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform initial patient triage and ongoing assessment and treatment of acute/urgent presenting symptoms in collaboration with the provider.  Use critical thinking and excellent communication skills to care for patients.  Knowledgeable of an array of presenting symptoms to quickly triage with appropriate use of nursing protocols in providing evidence-based care. Take vital signs, collects specimens for lab testing, administers medications, administers IV fluid, performs 12-lead EKG as needed. Performs point-of-care testing.  Accurately documents care given.  Strictly follows all infection control guidelines to provide safe patient care. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
