Purpose of JobPartners with the business to define data/analytic needs and applies technical and business knowledge to recommend solutions that solve business problems and reporting needs. May prepare operational materials for senior management in support of major programs and functions. Independently, under minimal supervision, manages/performs multiple complex, and some unique, work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels. As a key contributor, critical to the achievement of team/organization goals, provides guidance to peers and less experienced team members in the development and delivery of their work product. Proactively maintains relationship with customer to ensure reporting is value-add and adapted for changing business needs.Job Requirements
Facilitates COSA business projects of high complexity, size and visibility ensuring stakeholders champion decision making data needs.
Leads or directs the design, development and implementation and provides oversight of the maintenance of complex and sometimes unique business solutions, which may include data, reporting, business intelligence or analytics.
Utilizes a comprehensive understanding of multiple data structures and sources to Lead or direct complex and sometimes unique data manipulation using advanced data extraction and analytical tools and techniques.
Recognizes the connection between the business operations and analytics to influence business strategies and solutions.
Makes recommendations to management.
Develops innovative approaches to address business problems and solutions.
Ensures that operational reports are complete and provide accurate data to enable business functions to carry on day to day operations.
Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, OR, 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
6 or more years experience in an analytical or technical support function or general data analysis/extraction experience, and statistics.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge of data reporting/analysis tools and techniques.
Advanced troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.
Has successfully developed tools / dashboards to support financial decision support.
Familiarity with Tableau, PeopleSoft, and Apptio applications.
