In the Senior Accountant role, you will support the company's goals by preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, establishing budgets and forecasting, preparing audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Experience with ERP systems
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
Account reconciliation experience
Knowledge of Annual Audited Financial Statements
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
