THIS POSITION IS IN DEVINE, TX
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age, good health, have a valid driver’s license, clean driver’s record from the TDPS, Must have TB and CPR within 5 days of employment.
EXPERIENCE: knowledge with prior experience in managing a staff or facility, experience with supervision of special needs and elderly clients.
ABILITIES: Exhibit good people skills and understand the needs of the elderly and special needs client, must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and good customer service skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Scheduling and coordinating weekly transportation schedules (To Day Care, To Doctor appt)
2. Complete Monthly Activity calendar. Submit to Owner for review by 10th of the prior month
3. Responsible for all staff complete their daily assignments/tasks
4. Responsible for HR duties to include: all Staff monthly OIGs are completed and filed in book/log, Payroll , train/orient new staff, Staff Monthly in-services
5. Responsible for Facility Fire Drills, Fire Marshall, Fire extinguishers are kept up to date
6. Ensure facility is clean and free of any hazards to include yard (cut/watered)and surrounding land
7. Responsible for weekly Groceries and monthly menus. (submit menu to Owner for review by 25th every month for the upcoming month)
8. Complete Client Monthly Medication Sheets , Ensure all Staff who give medications are trained prior to Med administration.
9. Responsible that Van is washed, clean, has regular oil changes, vacuumed , wiped down weekly
10. Perform weekly safety checks of Facility to ensure all equipment/ doors are operational, to include weekly water temp checks, monthly checks on Fire extinguisher, Fire drills, check electrical plugs/outlets are working and all equipment is in working order i.e. T.V., washer/dryer, stove, all light appliances
11. Assist with emergency evacuation of clients in inclement weather or emergency closure of facility
12. Report to Owner IMMEDIATELY any problems with clients that pose a threat to other clients, staff or facility
13. Maintain good rapport with co-workers and clients /family members
14. On-Site/Available for State Surveyor/ Ombudsman/ Insurance Rep/ any Visiting Doctors
15. Exterminator- set up to come out every 3 months
16. On-Call-for staff when a issue arises during their shift
17. Staff call offs due to illness make sure shift is covered
18. Other duties as assigned
