The Diesel Fleet Mechanic I perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and lubrication on industrial equipment, trucks, trailers, automobiles, facilities and any other assets belonging to the company. This position will also handle minor repairs or component replacement while performing quality inspections following the assigned checklist and guidelines.
Report to work at designated time in company uniform and with required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Wash and disinfect portable toilets, showers or comfort stations, depending on assignment, using the 40-point quality assurance checklist.
Work as a unit attendant at events.
Mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated aptitude for maintaining and repairing equipment.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspection, make sure the cab is clean and the Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) is turned in at the end of each shift.
Written and verbal communication skills in English
Valid Class C driver’s license
Safe driving record for the past three years
