Letme explain how and why.
When we meet we will discuss 2 rates of pay. One rate is what I will pay you starting on the fist day we work together. The second rate is what we will be paying you after one year. Here is an example.
Ifwe start you at $30.000 per hour and we agree that after one year we will pay you $50.00 per hour then we will take the difference between the two which is $20.00 per hour then we will divide 20 by 52 weeks in a year and we get the number 38 cents.
This means that every week you work for us we will increase your rato of pay by 38 cents. That means that in 52 weeks your pay will b $50.00
