Job Description: We are currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious LBC Crane Operators for Midland, TX, and Johnson City, TX, to join our team of Steel Erectors. In this role, you will operate cranes to lift and position steel components during erection projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. Must have an LBC.
TLL or TSS is a plus but not necessary.
Responsibilities:
Operate cranes to lift, move, and position steel components according to project requirements.
Ensure safe crane operation by following established safety protocols and procedures.
Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks on cranes and rigging equipment.
Communicate effectively with the steel erection team to coordinate lifts and movements.
Monitor weather conditions and other factors that may affect crane operation.
Assist with rigging and assembly tasks as needed to support steel erection activities.
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
Requirements:
Valid crane operator LBC certification/license. TLL and TSS are a plus.
Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of crane operation principles, rigging techniques, and load capacities.
Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical strength and stamina to perform crane operation duties.
Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
