Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager with a background in oil field trucking to oversee the daily administrative operations of our office. The ideal candidate will manage various functions, including HR, budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and record keeping. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient office processes, supporting management, and handling operational tasks related to owner-operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations ensuring smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records, including employee files, financial documents, and operational logs.
- Manage HR activities, including hiring, onboarding, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payments to vendors and contractors.
- Track and monitor office expenditures, ensuring costs are kept within budget.
- Handle procurement of office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain and manage spreadsheets and databases for tracking budgets, schedules, and other key operational data.
- Assist management with special projects and act as a liaison between office staff, owner-operators, and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Must have a background in trucking and be local to the Pleasanton, TX area.
- Previous experience in oil field trucking or a related industry is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
- Experience in HR, particularly in recruitment and employee relations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with office software and systems, including accounting and HR platforms.
